These days I'm mostly musically involved in things at Unity Center of Peace in Chapel Hill on Tuesdays and three retreats that have been happening for some years... Did I mention that I'm AVAILABLE for other such singin' dancin' opportunities? Give me a shout!!

FIRST TUESDAY: MEN'S SING - No particular direction or format in mind, just some guys getting together to share simple songs and enjoy each others' voices and company. No singing experience necessary, just desire to explore/play with your voice. Hosted by Mark Smith and Sotar
THIRD TUESDAY: UNIVERSAL CHANTING/INTERFAITH SERVICE - Informal, highly participatory singing of many sacred traditions, facilitated by Mark Smith and Mark Malachi and occasional guest leaders.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND (Friday thru Monday): Universal Chanting at Southern Dharma Retreat Center 3 Nights/4 Days of Chanting, Meditation and Silence - Co-led with Joh Seskevich.
On the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Triangle Universal Chanting Group, we returned to Southern Dharma, where it all began, to share a weekend of chanting, meditation and some Dances of Universal Peace led by Akal Dev Sharonne - with silence outside the meditation hall, wonderful accomodations, great vegetarian food and good old mountain energy. NEW YEAR BEACH RETREAT Jan 1-2 (Sat/Sun): JDances of Universal Peace at TRINITY CENTER, Pine Knoll Shores NC...this year (2011) we're thinking about just having a 2-day 1-night retreat on with the option of staying over another night (and/or coming early for the Bogue Banks Boogie New Years Eve/Day contradance). Again: Akal Dev Sharonne leads dances, I play (and act as registrar).
